I'm currently doing some site re-designs - thank you for understanding!
Based on Vancouver Island, I create natural, story-driven photography for families, couples, farms, makers, artisans, and local brands.
From family sessions and weddings to farm photography, product photography, and visual storytelling for small businesses, my work is rooted in connection, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.
Serving clients throughout the Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo, Campbell River, the Discovery Islands, and beyond.
Why I do this
I spent years studying stories.
Through literature, language, research, and eventually a PhD in English (Language), I became fascinated by the ways people make meaning through family, language, work, place, and memory.
Eventually I realized the stories that captivated me most weren't only found in books. They were unfolding every day around me—in family homes, on farms, in small businesses, and along the coast.
Today, I tell them through photographs.
From family sessions and weddings to farms, handcrafted products, and local businesses, I'm drawn to the people, places, and moments that make life meaningful.
Because the most memorable photographs don't just show what something looked like. They remind us what it felt like to be there.
